After 10 years of serving Martlesham Heath Householders Ltd as Chairperson, David Foster has served 3 months’ notice of his stepping down. Over his long tenure, he has effected many changes; bringing the accounts and huge swathes of documents online, updating the website, initiated the revision of the Articles of Association to bring them in line with current legislation which have been lodged and accepted by Companies House since the AGM. The regular monitoring of resident emails so problems are resolved or addressed promptly as well as grant applications, subcontractor works, the formal tree survey and management plan along with much more. David’s extensive local knowledge will be missed.
As a result, we are now down to 4 directors, all of whom work or have other commitments, the minimum required is 3. We are now looking for ideally another 4 directors, who may work or not, to spread the workload. In time, hopefully a new Chairperson can be found from among them.
